Link a headset
No typing in there
Sign in on this device first. Pairing hands your headset a session of its own, so this device has to be signed in to have one to hand over.
Sign inThe easy way
Press this, choose your headset, then put it on and accept the prompt. It opens already signed in — nothing to type inside.
You will choose the headset on Meta's page. Make sure it is switched on.
Nothing arrived?
It does not take over the screen. Look for a notification in the headset, and check Saved items — on Meta's page you can also press Save to MR instead of Open, which puts it there deliberately.
Still nothing? Try Meta's own example link. If that does not arrive either, the problem is between Meta and your headset rather than anything here.
You can always open the browser in the headset and go to this address once — after that, bookmark it and none of this is needed again.

Looking for a headset…
Put the headset on, open this site in its browser, and choose Link a headset. Type the six characters it shows you here.
Codes last ten minutes. If it has expired, the headset will show you a new one.
Linked.
The headset is signing itself in. You can take this tab away — it has what it needs.
