Usurper Interactive Presents
Just because it happens once does not mean you only get to be there once.
Ask anyone about their wedding and they will tell you it went by in a blur. You were being moved from one thing to the next, and the day you spent a year planning was over before you had time to stand in the middle of it and look around. We film it in every direction at once, so that you can.
We capture all of life's moments: engagements and receptions, birthdays and anniversaries, graduations, christenings and quinceañeras, reunions, retirements, and the corporate events worth remembering.
EnquireThe Experience
A wedding film shows you what one camera was pointed at. It is a lovely thing, and it is somebody else's version of your day — everything outside that frame is simply gone, and it does not come back.
What is outside the frame is usually the part you would want most. Your mother's face during the vows. Your grandfather at table four, laughing at something nobody filmed. The dance floor at midnight from where you were actually standing. A camera pointed one way cannot keep any of it.
Recollection keeps all of it. Every moment of your day holds every camera we ran on it, playing together in perfect step. Be at the front for the vows, then turn to the back of the room to watch your family watching you — the same instant, from somewhere else. No loading, no restarting. The other angles never stopped.
So you can go back on your first anniversary, and your tenth. You can show it to a child who was not born yet. And one day it will be the closest thing there is to standing in a room with someone who is no longer in it — not a photograph of them, but them, moving, on the best day of your life.
It is not a video you watch. It is a room you re-enter.
The Process
I
Cameras are placed where the moments actually happen — the aisle, the vows, the first dance. Not one angle chosen for you. All of them, at once.
II
Your day becomes a sequence of sections, in the order it happened. Each one holds every angle we captured of it.
III
Put the glasses on and look around the room as it was. Switch between angles mid-moment without losing your place — the other cameras never stopped rolling.
Delivery
Every tier includes a pair of XR glasses. They are yours to keep — a private cinema, whether or not you use the head tracking.
What are XR glasses?
You have probably seen a VR headset — a Meta Quest 3, or a 3S. A brick strapped to your face, with its own battery, its own charging, and its own menus to learn before you see anything. Most of them end up in a drawer.
XR glasses are the other answer. They look like sunglasses, weigh about as much, and have no battery and no menus, because they are not a computer. They plug into the one you already carry. One cable into your phone or laptop and a cinema screen appears in front of you — you can still see the room around it, and nobody else can see what you are watching.
A VR headset
Around a pound and a half on your face. Charge it, update it, learn it. A thing you decide to go and use.
XR glasses
A few ounces. No charging, no setup. Plug them in on the sofa, on a plane, or beside someone watching something else entirely.
Nothing to install. Open a link on a laptop, plug the glasses in, and turn your head to look around.

The glasses' own motion sensors drive the view. Turn your head, the room turns with you.

The glasses give you a private big screen. Apple does not let apps read the glasses' sensors, so looking around comes from the phone itself.

Every tier is the same film, in full. The difference is how you look around inside it.
Guest passes
Your day was not only yours. Every recollection comes with guest passes, so the people who were there — and the ones who could not be — can step inside it too.
You send them yourself, in seconds: a link, an email, or a code on screen for someone to scan at the table. They need no account and no app — it opens in their browser. Grandparents who could not travel, the friend whose flight was cancelled, the cousin who missed the speeches.
A fully standalone setup — no phone or laptop at all, with hand gestures to switch angles — can be arranged on request.

Dates book up a long way out, and we take a limited number each season so that every recollection gets the attention it needs. If you have a date in mind, start the conversation early.
